As a Central Phoenix resident for 37 years, the game of football brought Gary to the Valley of the Sun. Hailing from Edmonds, Washington, Gary's journey in sports began as a standout three-sport letterman in high school.

His passion and talent for the game led him to attend Walla Walla JC, where he earned recognition as a JC Gridwire All-American during his sophomore year. Later, as a highly recruited player, Gary accepted a scholarship to Arizona State University in 1986, where he served as the starting tight end for the Sun Devils from '86 to '90.

After his impressive college career, Gary had the opportunity to showcase his skills in the NFL, playing in two pre-seasons for the Los Angeles Rams in '90 and '91.

Beyond his achievements on the field, Gary is also the CEO of AdSport, a sponsorship consultancy he founded in 1991. With a proven track record, he has negotiated and activated hundreds of successful sponsorship agreements for renowned brands like Chevron, State Farm, Visa, Alltel, Dodge, Chevrolet, and True Value. Gary's expertise as a veteran sports marketing executive has earned him tremendous respect in both the sports and business communities for his creativity and unbiased counsel to his clients.

Gary resides in central Phoenix with his beloved family, including his wife Syleste, daughters Kiana and Kalena, and son Kai, making a home in the heart of his deeply connected community.
